The sealing surface of the general-type plug valve is connected to the plug using a guide-rail structure. During opening, the plug is first lifted to a set height by the transmission mechanism; the two sliders gradually approach the centre of the valve as the plug rises, detach from the sealing surface and form a clearance, after which the plug and slider rotate together to the open position. Mainly used in metering systems, calibration systems, multi-branch mixed transportation systems, tank root partitions, storage and transportation of aviation fuel, airport refuelling hydrants, and frequent-operation feeding/unloading systems in civil aviation and port oil depots.
